Beit Dekel – A Home of Rest, Strength, and Legacy

Beit Dekel was founded in memory of Captain Dekel Suissa הי"ד a great man who embodied courage, generosity, and devotion.

At just 23 years old, Captain Suissa served as a platoon commander in the 13th Battalion of the Golani Brigade. On October 7, during the brutal attack on the Magen Bari outpost, he was the only officer present. With extraordinary bravery, he fought against dozens of terrorists, saving countless lives and preventing the outpost from falling. His sacrifice and heroism continue to inspire all who knew him.

To honor his legacy, Beit Dekel was established as a place of comfort and renewal for IDF soldiers.

Located in Moshav Patish, just 20 km from the Gaza border, this welcoming villa provides a warm and homely environment where soldiers can rest, recharge, and find peace after the intensity of battle.

The villa is fully equipped to meet both body and spirit:

* Comfortable bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen with nourishing meals and drinks
* A refreshing pool and jacuzzi for relaxation
* Recreational spaces including a snooker table, gaming machines, and barbecue facilities
* A supportive team that offers not only hospitality but also a listening ear and emotional support

Beit Dekel is more than a place to rest – it is a sanctuary of gratitude, built to remind our soldiers that they are never alone and that their sacrifice is cherished by the people of Israel.

With your partnership and generosity, we are working to expand this vision – establishing additional homes across the country to form a network of care and appreciation. Our dream is that every soldier, man or woman, will always have a warm, embracing home to return
